WHO official page
WHO began in April 7th, 1948 and since then, this organization has work side by side with countries to ensure the highest level of health possible for everyone.
We unite to fight against infectious diseases like swine flu and HIV and noncommunicable ones like cancer and heart disease. We help mothers and children survive so they can look forward to a healthy old age. We ensure the safety of the air people breathe, the food they eat, the water they drink, and the medicines and vaccines they need.
